Contest Theme
Time to hit the beach! It has to display HikaxHaru (of course!) as the main focus, but anything else goes. Swimsuits, HikaruxHaruhi, and water (pool, sprinkler, lake, sea...) are the only requirements. Use your imagination to decide the rest! ^^

Time line
You have from now to the 15th of September! That should be plenty of time, ne? I'll be fairly lax about this, however, should I receive proper notice -- if you need an extension... note the club at least a day before the deadline!

Voting shall take place from September 16th to the 22nd (one week). More on how to vote when that time comes!

Prizes

Well this is what dearest *Hiyori-Fuuko suggested:

1st place will be entitled to an art request, fully colored, from both myself and *Hiyori-Fuuko. Their entry will also be featured here at the club.
2nd place will be entitled an art request, fully colored, from either myself or *Hiyori-Fuuko
3rd place will be entitled an art request, not colored, from either myself or *Hiyori-Fuuko

Rules

2. Only members can vote; managers are excluded from voting

Dun duh duh dun! Wolf-rant time

Okay, okay, so the lack of activity is partially my own fault -- I didn't go through with many (if any) of mine or Kasu-chan's plans. We both got incredibly busy (guess what, I actually have a life now! What a big shocker O_O) with things dealing with... uh... what else, LIFE. We're both in school and on opposite ends of the world, so our collaborative time is limited. Sorry! Real life sucks, but ya gotta deal with it. Shame the club is so neglected...

With that in mind... KICK MEH! ...That's right. Slap the hand *holds it out* C'mon, yep, that's right... Open invitation!

*cough* Okay, on a more serious note, I'm thinking I might need another assistant to help me. Kasu-chan is great and this club could not be without her <3, but unfortunately the two-woman team isn't doing it. And, well, I'm not exactly the quick-trusting, "Okay, you were the first to offer, so go ahead and have the position," type so... If you want the job, you'd better earn it! While I'm figuring out how you can do that... go ahead and note me. Yes, note me, on my account. You read right, folks. Best way to get the job is to make friends with the manager, right? Er, one of the best ways. I want capable people who can actually type out full sentences and spell well enough (and no over usage of crazy ebonics; drives me nuts when people talk like that).

The Rain Doth Fall and Club Activity

I got serious blockage on the first page and so many things have been happening in my life xD; Sorry everyone about that... But rest assured, TRDF will happen... Just needs more planning. It's a new experience for me so I hope to do well! I'm still excited about doing it, however the club currently needs some steady activity.

That in mind, Kasu-chan and I have discussed a few things. If no one else will submit art, we will! xD Please, do submit any HikaxHaru-related works. At this point, I don't really care if it involves them directly. We need activiteh. The Wolfie demands it. I'm super-stoked about getting a tablet for Christmas this year, so one of my first projects with it is to try out some HikaxHaru fan art on it I hope that encourages y'all to ALSO submit fan art/graphics/fiction/poetry! <_<

The Rain Doth Fall
Kasu came to me not too long ago with an idea. She thought it would be interesting for us to work on a doujinshi exclusively for this club. Taking up on this idea, we talked to each other about it. It just so happened, I was also writing an Ouran fan fiction revolving around Hikaru (told in first person, his POV) featuring the HikaxHaru pairing. We both decided that this would be good to use for the story

There are quite a few details about TRDF that I haven't revealed to you yet, but I wish to talk more with Kasu before I go into length about them. I also decided earlier today that this club was seriously lacking some art, so I decided to work on the cover. I still haven't gotten some supplies I would like to have to do this doujinshi with, so the first page will have to wait. I'm sure Kasu might have something to say about this as well... so keep an eye out for that edit.

I'm really looking forward to this, so I hope you all are too!
